15th Annual Turkeyfoot Trot 5K Run/Walk

We appreciate your participation in the past and hope that you will join us again this year to support our NKY neighbors in need. This event helps our neighbors who are struggling to make ends meet. All proceeds from the race benefit St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky parish conferences who assist with the mission of helping our neighbors in need with food, rent/utility assistance, clothing, household furnishings, and more.

Our 5k run/walk is back again for its 15th year and will be held at Thomas More University this year with a new start time of 12:00 p.m. noon! We also have a Virtual option for those who prefer that option or want to participate from afar! All are welcomed!

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. for race day race registration and pre-race stretches by Stretch Lab Ft. Wright and coffee from Ft. Mitchell Biggby.

There will be an after-party post-race that will include DOOR PRIZES, RACE AWARDS, and REFRESHMENTS for runners and walkers! You must be present to win door prizes. Awards will be given to the division winners and overall winners.

Leashed dogs are welcomed at the race but are not permitted inside TMU buildings. Please visit TMU website for more information on their dog policy.

Course

The race starts near TMU Administrative Building onto Villa Madonna Drive to Turkeyfoot Road and east on Thomas More Parkway to Medical Village Drive. Turn around and head back to the Thomas More campus via Renaissance Drive ending in front of the TMU Administration Building. See the course map at the bottom of this page for details.

Awards

Overall winner’s male and female runners. Overall winner’s male and female walkers. Additional prizes 2nd and 3rd place overall runners and age category winners.

Post Race

Free Kid’s Fun Run (10 and under) located on the grounds of Thomas More University. Refreshments and door prizes for participants (must be present to win) after the race. Awards will be given to the division winners and overall winners.

Registration Fees

Super Value Early Bird Registration is available JULY 19 and 20 online or by mailing your entry form and fee, postmarked July 19 or 20, 2022. Super Value Early Bird registration fees are $10.00 for adults and children. T-shirts are sold separately for $17.00 each.

Early Bird Registration is available from July 21 to September 15 online or by mailing your entry form and fee, postmarked by September 15, 2022. Early Bird registration fees for the 5k are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for children 14 years or younger. T-shirts are sold separately for $17.00 each.

Pre-registration is available from September 16 to November 4 online or by mailing your entry form and fee, postmarked by Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Pre-registration fees are $25.00 for adults and $20.00 for children 14 years or younger. T-shirts are sold separately for $17.00 each while supply lasts.

In-person pre-registration is available at Tri-State Running Company during packet pick-up on November 3rd and 4th.

Online registration is open through race day, November 5. Race day registration fee is $30 for adults and $25 for children 14 years or younger. In-person race registration is also available on race day, November 5, starting at 10:30 a.m.

The registration fee includes chip timing and race awards, door prizes, and refreshments at the post-race after-party.

T-shirts

T-shirts are sold separately for $17.00 each while supplies last. T-shirts are tri-blend with the official Turkeyfoot trot logo and date on the front and sponsors on the back. The color of the shirt is based on inventory.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP

Tri-State Running Company, 148 Barnwood Dr. Edgewood, KY, Thursday, Nov 3, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, Nov 4, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Race Day Packet Pick Up:

Race Day check-in and packet pick-up start at 10:30 a.m. in Steigerwald Hall –TMU’s Saint Center.
