Why train with us? Working with our training groups is one of our absolute favorite parts of the job. These groups allow us to get involved in our community and help motivate and support runners just like us! We offer a variety of training programs throughout the year to cater to a wealth of starting points and ability levels, and we feel confident that we have the best coaches and staff around to help you reach your personal goals.

Tri-State Running Company provides members of our training groups with: • Secure meeting location • Full training schedule • Coaches • Shirts and socks • Clinics • Weekly informational emails • Dedicated Facebook page • Shoe vendor demo runs • Discounts to select races • Preferred race treatment with pre and post-race meeting spots.

Our training groups aren’t just about the workouts, we like to have fun too! Social events are held throughout each session. We have two weekly options for fun runs, and in the summer, we have a free trail series sponsored by Altra.

Whether you’re 18 or 80; a runner, a walker, or run/walker; a complete beginner or experienced, we believe we have a group for you.

Couch to 5K Program

For the following races: the TSRC/Flying Pig 5K, City of Edgewood 4th of July 5K, Tunnel to Towers 5K, and the Jingle Bell Run, we have a Couch to 5K program. This program is designed for beginning runners and walkers to get you to a 5K!

Spring Marathon or ½ Marathon Program

This program covers the Flying Pig ½ and full, Heart Mini Marathon, and the Frozen Cyclones 5K /10K. Runners and Walkers of all abilities are welcome to join!

Spring 10K Program

This program covers training for the Flying Pig 10K. Runners and Walkers of all abilities are welcome to join! Florence location only.

Summer Bridge Program

Train for the Tri-State Running Company/City of Edgewood 5K, the FCC3, and the Hyde Park Blast while improving your times and having fun!

Fall Full or ½ Marathon Program

This program covers the Queen Bee ½, Hudepohl 14K, Indianapolis Monumental ½ and full, and the Honor Run ½. Runners and Walkers of all abilities are welcome to join!

Cold Feet – Winter Training Program

Stay motivated during the dark winter months and be ready for the start of the Spring season.

Full-year Program

Sign up once and have registration for: • Spring Full or ½ Marathon • Summer Bridge • Fall Full or ½ Marathon • Cold Feet. You will receive all benefits associated with those groups and a $25 store credit. This option runs January – December.
