For the past seven months this has been our motto. Well the time has come to announce that we will once again run together as a group! In years past, the Cold Feet program was the perfect springboard to help prepare runners for the Flying Pig Training group and this year will be no different. With the pandemic still looming we will need to introduce some changes (details below) in order to follow all local and national guidelines. We are confident that these changes will not negatively impact your running experience. We want to thank you for choosing Tri-State Running Company as your training partner and for your continued loyalty to our running community.

Our Free Cold Feet Program begins on Saturday, November 14th at both locations!

All people and all abilities are welcomed and invited to join this group. If you previously signed up for the full year program Cold Feet is already included. Didn’t sign up for the full year? No problem. This year our Cold Feet program will be completely free! We do ask that you register so we can anticipate group and pace size.

Our program includes:

  • A training plan
  • Routes
  • Weekly emails from the Training Group Coordinator
  • Private Facebook page
  • A Holiday Lights Run
  • An Egg Nog and Cinnamon Roll Run
  • New Year’s Day Run

Some new safety precautions and protocols:

Staggered Starts

We will stagger our weeknight and Saturday runs. Here is the breakdown:

Tuesday Night – Mariemont

  • 6:20PM – 10:30 to Run/Walk group
  • 6:30PM – 9:00 and 10:00 group
  • 6:40PM – 8:45 to Sub-8 group

Saturday Morning – Mariemont

  • 7:50AM – 10:30 to Run/Walk group
  • 8:00AM – 9:00 and 10:00 group
  • 8:10 AM – 8:45 to Sub-8 group

Wednesday Night – Edgewood

  • 6:10PM – Run/Walk to Walk group
  • 6:20PM – 11:00 to 12:00 group
  • 6:30PM – 9:30 to 10:45 group
  • 6:40PM – 9:15 to Sub-8 group

Saturday Morning – Edgewood

  • 7:40AM – Run/Walk group to Walk group
  • 7:50AM – 11:00 to 12:00 group
  • 8:00AM – 9:30 to 10:45 group
  • 8:10AM – 9:15 to Sub-8 group

Please do not show up more than but 5 minutes before hand. This will allow us to respect the sub-50% rule. We also encourage you to wait in your car if you arrive early.

Water Stops

For the time being, we will not be providing water stops on the runs. We recommend that you carry your own hand-held water bottle or Camelbak. Knowing this is not ideal for everyone, it is an extra precaution that must be taken.


Mask wearing will be required during the pre-run meeting, while inside the store, and anytime you are not able to maintain proper social distancing. Runners can remove them while actively running but are encouraged to carry them and utilize as needed.

Key Buckets

We will provide key buckets and will have disinfecting wipes available to eliminate any germs and cross contamination. Please consider detaching your car key and keeping it with you.


Please do not wait inside the store. If you need to use the restroom or make a purchase please feel free to come-in; otherwise, try to observe everybody’s personal space. Just a reminder that masks are required when inside the store.

In Mariemont – meet in the parking lot behind the store

In Edgewood – meet on the sidewalk to the left of the store  


During this time babysitting will be suspended. We apologize for this but feel it is in the best interest of everyone.
