Thrive 5K

Tri-State Running Company is proud to sponsor the Thrive 5K, a community-action event held in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, as we run, walk, and stand together against violence in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area.

All race registration proceeds directly support the event and the Thrive Community Fund, enabling the Thrive Empowerment Center to provide free empowerment programs to local organizations, including the ION Center for Violence Prevention.

Event Details & Schedule

• Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026

• Race Start Time: 9:30 AM

• Location: Devou Park (Volpenhein Shelter)

• Address: 790 Park Ln, Covington, KY 41011

• Format: Chip-timed 5K run/walk on an updated 2026 course through scenic Devou Park.

• Weather: Rain or shine!

• Strollers & Pets: Strollers are welcome; please, no dogs on the course.

Community Fair

Arrive early to check out the pre-race Community Fair at the starting area! Connect with members of the Thrive Community to learn about classes offered at the Thrive Empowerment Center and discover local resources from the ION Center and other area partners.

Awards & Divisions

Prizes will be awarded across the following categories:

• Runners: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place (Male, Female, and Non-Binary divisions)

• Walkers: 1st Place (Male, Female, and Non-Binary divisions)

Registration & T-Shirts

• T-Shirt Guarantee: Register by September 11 to guarantee your official event t-shirt. Sign-ups after September 11 will receive t-shirts while supplies last.

• Can’t attend? You can still support the cause by donating directly or contributing to the Thrive Community Fund through the Sponsor a Warrior program.
