The 44th Annual Newtown 5K! 🏃‍♂️🌳

Join us for a true community classic! We are incredibly proud to sponsor the 44th Annual Newtown 5K. This relatively flat, 3.1-mile course winds through beautiful residential streets, starting and ending at Moundview Park.

Even better? It’s a race with a mission! Please bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to help us stock the local food pantry at Inter-Parish Ministries (IPM).

📍 Event Details

  • When: Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 8:30 AM

    • Roads leading to the park close at 8:15 AM—plan accordingly!

  • Where: Moundview Park — 3130 Newtown Road, Newtown, OH 45244

  • Parking: Park in the field at Moundview Park or at St. John Fisher Church.

  • Beneficiary: Organized by Turpin Cross Country.

🛍️ Early Packet Pickup (At Tri-State Running Company!)

Skip the race-day lines and grab your packet early at our Mariemont location (7433 Wooster Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45227):

  • Thursday, August 6: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Friday, August 7: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

  • Please note: We will not be doing any packet pickup at Moundview Park on the days prior to the race. Race-day pickup will be available at the park from 7:00 AM – 8:15 AM.

💵 Registration & Pricing

  • Pre-Registration (through August 2): $30

  • Late & Race-Day Registration (August 3–8): $35

  • Corporate Team Sponsorship: $200 (covers up to 7 runners, includes t-shirts)

  • T-Shirts: Available for purchase for $10, while supplies last!

  • ⚠️ Note: All registrations must be completed online (including on race day). There is no in-person paper registration.

👟 Race Divisions & Competitions

  • Runners: Male and female age groups from “10 & under” up to “70 and over.”

  • Walkers: Separate divisions starting with a dedicated walker-only start. (Walkers must walk the entire distance—no running allowed!)

  • Corporate & School Team Competitions: Gather your coworkers or represent your school! Contact Marshall Remmele at [email protected] in advance for team entry details.

🎉 Awards & Free Kids Fun Run

  • The Awards: Special awards for overall male/female runners and walkers, top Newtown residents, age group winners, and the top Corporate and School teams.

  • Free Kids Fun Run: Held right after the 5K! No advanced signup needed.

    • Kids 5 & under will race across the field.

    • Elementary kids will run a 1,000m course around the park, fully guided by volunteers.
