Alpine Trail Race Series 3.0: Haunted Trail Run

Tri-State Running Company is proud to sponsor the Haunted Trail Run, the special season finale of the Alpine Trail Race Series (ATRS 3.0)! Join us at French Shelter Park for a fun, festive trail event featuring holiday gift card giveaways, games for all ages, and costume prizes. Plus, overall series winners will earn a trip to fly to China for APTRC 2026!

Event Details & Schedule

• Date: Fall 2026 (Series runs through October 31)

• Location: French Shelter Park

• Address: 7154 Knoll Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45237

• Schedule:

  • 8:15 AM – 8:50 AM: Bib Pickup

  • 9:00 AM: Race Start (5K, 10K & Half Marathon)

• Time Limits: 3-hour course limit for 5K and 10K.

Race Options & Courses

Whether you choose to run or walk, enjoy scenic trails with distances for every runner:

• 5K: 1 loop

• 10K: 2 loops

• Half Marathon: 4 loops

• Note: Walkers are welcome! For safety, no dogs are permitted on the course.

SWAG, Costumes & Series Prizes

• Finisher Perks: Custom-designed Haunted Trail Run finisher t-shirt and ATRS finisher medal for all participants.

• Costume Contest: Costumes are encouraged! Best costume awards will be handed out on race day.

• Global Travel Opportunity: Earn points toward the ATRS yearly standings. The overall male and female series winners will win tickets to fly to China to compete in an ITRA/UTMB Index race (30K, 55K, or 100K) at a UNESCO World Heritage site!

Registration & Discounts

• Youth Discount: Athletes under 20 years old receive a 15% discount on registration fees.

• Registration: All runners must register online via RunSignup. Entry fees are non-refundable.
