Alpine Trail Race Series: Race #5 – The Deer Trail Run! 🌲🏃‍♂️⛰️

Hit the dirt and explore the stunning, rugged terrain of Cincinnati’s largest park! We are incredibly proud to sponsor The Deer Trail Run, Race #5 in Season 3 of the Alpine Trail Race Series. Offering everything from a fun 5K to a grueling 30K, this series brings a close-knit, high-energy trail community together every month.

Whether you’re hunting for series points to win an international travel prize, chasing a new distance, or dressing up for the costume contest, there is an adventure waiting for you on the trails!

📍 Event Details

• Where: Mt. Airy Forest Playground — 1010 Trail Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45223

• When: Race starts at 9:00 AM

• Check-In: Bib pickup is race-day only, opening 30 minutes before the start and closing 10 minutes prior.

• Time Limit: Generous 5-hour course time limit—walkers are always welcome!

• 5K & 10K (Fun, themed routes)

• Half Marathon (2 loops of the 10K course)

• 30K (3 loops of the 10K course)

• The Bling: Every finisher takes home a fun, themed finisher medal!

• Swag: Half-Marathon and 30K registrations include a finisher t-shirt. For the 5K and 10K, shirts are available for purchase. (Note: Register at least 12 business days in advance to get your shirt on race day, otherwise it will be shipped to you).

• Costume Contest: Costumes are highly encouraged! Awards are given out for the best costume at every live race.

• Youth Discount: To promote trail running among younger athletes, anyone under 20 gets a 15% discount!

• Series Points: Finishing the Deer Trail Run automatically earns you points toward the ultimate yearly standings, featuring an international travel opportunity for the overall male and female series winners.

📝 Important Race Rules

• All registrations must be completed online via RunSignup.

• Entry fees are non-refundable, but if you miss a race, you can transfer your registration to another ATR event.

• No dogs are allowed on the race course.
