DESCRIPTION:Place\n10245 Winton Rd\nCincinnati\, OH US 45231\n\n\n\n\nDescription\n\n\nRun for Tourette 5K\nSaturday\, November 8\, 2025 – 10 am\nKestral Point Shelter at Winton Woods Park\n  \nDescription: \nHi\, my name is Nathan Chamot\, I’m 17 years old\, and I’m the organizer of the first-ever Run for Tourette 5K on November 8th\, 2025! I wanted to organize this 5K to raise money for the Tourette Association of America because I have Tourette Syndrome\, and I don’t want others to face the same barriers I did growing up with the disorder. I started showing symptoms at the age of 9\, and began to sniffle\, twitch\, and jerk without the ability to stop. As symptoms persisted\, without any explanation\, I began to feel unjustified in myself\, which brought me to see doctor after doctor to figure out what was going on. Despite these symptoms persisting for years\, it wasn’t until I was 13 years old that I got a diagnosis! The feeling of being unjustified in yourself is not something I want others to go through\, but it is sadly a harsh reality for many\, as an estimated 50% of people with Tourette Syndrome go undiagnosed. Additionally\, Tourette Syndrome is not an uncommon disorder\, as an estimated 1.4 million children live with Tourette Syndrome or another Tic Disorder. This is why I am raising money for the largest 501(c)(3) organization for Tourette Syndrome\, the Tourette Association of America\, an organization I’m also a Youth Ambassador for. I want to make a difference in the lives of those with Tourette Syndrome\, and I hope you can help me too. There will be no age category awards for this race. \nSchedule of Events: \nThe 5K race starts at 10:00 am\, and the after-party starts at 10:30 am. The after-party goes until noon and will be held at Kestrel Point Shelter. Our race will be timed\, and you can see your results broken down on our race website. \n  \nAfter the Race: \nStarting at 10:30\, we will have a post-race party for you to enjoy! There will be healthy post-race food\, a Tom’s Coffee Truck\, raffle prizes\, music\, and more! We will have some free food items and water for participants at the finish line. \nRegistration:  \nEarly Bird Pricing (Registration purchased before 9/30/25) will be $20 for an adult\, and $18 for anyone 13 and under (youth) or 60 and older (seniors). Kids 3 and under do not need to register. After 9/30/25\, registration prices will be $25 for an adult\, and $20 for those 13 and under or who are 60 and older. If you purchase registration on the day of the race\, it will cost $30 for adults and $22 for children or seniors. \nRegistration is 100% online only from your phone\, tablet or computer including race day. \n  \nReferral Rewards and Referral Challenge: \nOnce you sign up\, send out your referral code to your friends. Refer 5 friends and get them to sign up\, and you get a $10 discount! Not only that\, but we will also be hosting a referral challenge! Whoever refers the most people and gets them to sign up by November 8th\, will win a $150 Amazon gift card! You must refer a minimum of 5 people. \n  \nRace Day Check-in:  \nCheck in is from 8:30 am to 9:45 am at the Kestrel Point Shelter. Please come early to avoid a last-minute rush. We intend to start the race at 10:00 sharp! \nThere is no early pre-race day check-in. \n  \nParking: \nParking on Race Day is FREE to all participants. \nRaffles: \nEntries to try and win a raffle basket donated by our generous sponsors can be purchased at $5 for 2 tickets\, or $10 for 5 tickets. We will accept credit cards or cash. \nT-Shirts:  \nT-shirts are provided for free to all race participants and volunteers! We will have sizes ranging from small to XL\, but we cannot guarantee your size. DESCRIPTION:St. Elizabeth Healthcare Honor Run Half Marathon Race Description\n\n\nThe St. Elizabeth Healthcare Honor Run Half Marathon\, Honor Run 10K Presented by Medpace\, and the Honor Run Half 5K will be held on Veterans Day weekend Sunday\, November 9th\, 2025. Come join us once again underneath the iconic Florence Y’All water tower to honor those who have served us! \nThe 13.1 mile St. Elizabeth Honor Run Half Marathon begins at 7:00 am. The 10K and 5K Run/Walk will start at 7:45 am.  All events start and finish under the Florence Y’All water tower at Florence Mall in Florence\, KY. \nProceeds from all St. Elizabeth Healthcare Honor Run Half Marathon events will benefit Honor Flight Tri-State by helping send our local veterans who have served our nation in World War II\, Korea\, and Vietnam to Washington DC to visit their memorials.  Over the past 10 years\, we have donated a total of $420\,000 to help our local veterans.
