DESCRIPTION:The 44th Annual Newtown 5K! 🏃‍♂️🌳\nJoin us for a true community classic! We are incredibly proud to sponsor the 44th Annual Newtown 5K. This relatively flat\, 3.1-mile course winds through beautiful residential streets\, starting and ending at Moundview Park. \nEven better? It’s a race with a mission! Please bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to help us stock the local food pantry at Inter-Parish Ministries (IPM). \n📍 Event Details\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, August 8\, 2026 at 8:30 AM \n\n\nRoads leading to the park close at 8:15 AM—plan accordingly! \n\n\n\n\nWhere: Moundview Park — 3130 Newtown Road\, Newtown\, OH 45244 \n\n\nParking: Park in the field at Moundview Park or at St. John Fisher Church. \n\n\nBeneficiary: Organized by Turpin Cross Country. \n\n\n🛍️ Early Packet Pickup (At Tri-State Running Company!)\nSkip the race-day lines and grab your packet early at our Mariemont location (7433 Wooster Pike\, Cincinnati\, OH 45227): \n\n\nThursday\, August 6: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM \n\n\nFriday\, August 7: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM \n\n\nPlease note: We will not be doing any packet pickup at Moundview Park on the days prior to the race. Race-day pickup will be available at the park from 7:00 AM – 8:15 AM. \n\n\n💵 Registration & Pricing\n\n\nPre-Registration (through August 2): $30 \n\n\nLate & Race-Day Registration (August 3–8): $35 \n\n\nCorporate Team Sponsorship: $200 (covers up to 7 runners\, includes t-shirts) \n\n\nT-Shirts: Available for purchase for $10\, while supplies last! \n\n\n⚠️ Note: All registrations must be completed online (including on race day). There is no in-person paper registration. \n\n\n👟 Race Divisions & Competitions\n\n\nRunners: Male and female age groups from “10 & under” up to “70 and over.” \n\n\nWalkers: Separate divisions starting with a dedicated walker-only start. (Walkers must walk the entire distance—no running allowed!) \n\n\nCorporate & School Team Competitions: Gather your coworkers or represent your school!
