Training Groups Overview
Have you always dreamed of flying with the pigs or maybe trotting around town on Turkey Day? Would you like to train for your first 5K or marathon, but you're not sure where to begin? Are you struggling to improve your times or find the motivation to train consistently? We are here to help!
Working with our training groups is one of our absolute favorite parts of the job. These groups allow us to get involved in our community and help motivate and support runners just like us! We offer a variety of training programs throughout the year to cater to a wealth of starting points and ability levels, and we feel confident that we have the best coaches and staff around to help you reach your personal goals.

Tri-State Running Company provides members of our training groups with a meeting location, regular hydration stops, and running routes of set distances as part of a structured training plan so you can take the planning out of your run or walk. You will also have access to changing rooms, bathrooms, water, and even a shower here at the store should you need to clean up for whatever you are taking on next.

Our training groups aren't just about the workouts, we like to have fun too! We hold social events throughout each program, from Happy Hours to Pasta (Full/Half Marathon) and Victory (C25K) Parties; we'll guarantee you'll make a new friend or two.

As part of our training groups, we will provide you with all the help and infrastructure needed to finish your goal race! This includes:

Full Year Training: Want to stay motivated and race ready all year long? Then train with us! We'll keep you energized and in shape helping you maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid that after race slump and train for a marathon, half marathon, 10K, and/or 5K throughout the entire year. Also receive a $25 TSRC gift card when you sign up!
